I couldn't sleep at night because I heard the sound of chairs being dragged the whole night. The room was clean, but the manager had a tight expression and spoke very harshly, looking down on customers a lot. The extra bed cost 500 baht, but I only received a duvet. I understand that this is the hotel's policy, but for an additional 500 baht, I couldn't get breakfast or the extra bed; I only got a bedsheet and a pillow. Furthermore, the staff did not communicate with each other and blamed the customers, yelling at them when they themselves failed to share information and then blamed the customers for overstaying. The manager introduced himself, which is his duty, but there was no problem-solving etiquette at all. He looked for trouble and said to talk to security. They indicated that there were six to seven people staying, but later they said after checking the CCTV that they actually did stay over. After realizing that there were not as many people staying as claimed, and finding out they did follow the agreed rules from check-in, they then apologized for not being clear with the information during their communication. In summary, it’s unclear if there was any real communication or if there was an intent to find fault. When I arrived, it started to rain, and when the guests went to open the door, a woman claiming to be the manager sat with her legs crossed and just watched; she made no move to get up and open the door for them. This is a social etiquette that should be present, especially in a manager, yet she displayed none of this. However, the receptionist, who had bangs, was very polite and supportive throughout. I don’t know who should improve; it might need to be the manager because the hotel had everything else good.
